Terminals 1 and 2: the new destination for shoppers!

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has always taken good care of those who like to shop. At both terminals, shoppers are treated to some 30 stores which, from regional specialities to confectionery, hi-tech to culture, lingerie to fashion and leather goods to watches, offer a range of products that promise variety and quality.
For the greater satisfaction of its visitors, the airport is currently undergoing renovations to expand and/or improve many of its retail outlets. The hoardings that conceal the building sites should reveal the changes very soon.
Hermès, the beloved label of fashionistas everywhere, is one beneficiary of the operation. Located in Terminal 1 (in the restricted zone), the celebrated Parisian saddler will soon abandon its former boutique for a brand new bastion of the brand, twice as spacious as the present boutique. Extra space that will be well used to showcase the House's collections, from its legendary silk scarves to the equally celebrated bags and luggage, which will stand alongside the ready-to-wear and tableware ranges.

Another retailer set to gain from the refurbishment is Hédiard. The luxury delicatessen in Terminal 1 (also in the restricted zone) is soon to take up a 200-sq. m space to display its premium products from all over France and the world, from the most delectable chocolates and teas to wines from France’s finest vineyards, foie gras and other mouth-watering delights.

Things are also getting bigger and better in Terminal 2 where Aélia is extending its alcohol, tobacco and perfume offering by opening a newly-refurbished 225-sq. m store in the heart of the reserved zone. A magnificent window display will feature bottles from the world’s best perfumers and the finest bottles of wine and brandy to be consumed with moderation and delight in equal measure.

We are also hearing that fashion brands including Célio, Armani and Pepe Jeans are planning to move in during the Grand Prix weekend… a scoop that will have to wait for the next issue for confirmation!

Passenger motorbikes: the latest way to get from A to B!
