Emirates celebrates carrying three million passengers on its Nice-Dubai route

To mark this symbolic milestone, Emirates' three-millionth passenger was warmly welcomed at Nice Côte d'Azur airport under a festive arch set up for the occasion, with a giant boarding pass to give her 2 return economy class tickets between Nice and Dubai. The airline had also decorated its check-in counters with floral bouquets for the occasion.

The three millionth Emirates passenger on the Nice-Dubai route is a member of the Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programme, like more than 700,000 French citizens and residents. This award-winning frequent flyer programme, run jointly by Emirates and flydubai, offers its members exclusive benefits such as free flights or upgrades, flights with partner airlines, hotel stays, shopping vouchers from major retailers and novel experiences offered by the airline.

Emirates operates a daily flight from Nice on its A380, configured in three classes - offering customers 14 private suites in First Class, 76 seat-beds in Business Class and 427 spacious seats in Economy Class.

The airline carries passengers from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region to Dubai and beyond, with connections to a host of tourist destinations including Mauritius, Thailand, Bali, Sydney and the Maldives.

Emirates flights to and from Nice also help to facilitate international trade through the fast, efficient and reliable transport of goods. Over the past six years, Emirates SkyCargo - the air cargo division of Emirates - has carried more than 26,000 tonnes of cargo including perfume and flavour products, automotive parts and other items, from Nice and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region to destinations around the world.

The Emirates flight EK78 leaves Nice at 3.50pm and lands in Dubai at 11.59pm local time.  

The return flight EK77 leaves Dubai at 8.40am and arrives in Nice at 1.30pm local time.
