What's the best thing to see in Serbia? Its three largest cities are: Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš. The first, you’ll have heard of: that's normal, it's the capital! Nestled on the banks of the Danube, it offers a particularly tasty cocktail of ancient stone buidings - don't miss the castle! -It's also a very beautiful city (with the Skadarlija district, Serbia's Montmartre) and has a night-life that has earned it the nickname 'the Barcelona of the Balkans'. Finally, the third, Niš, may be the smallest city in terms of size, but it compensates with its charm.
