Nice Côte d’Azur international airport is highly honoured to welcome the Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of his first State visit to the Principality of Monaco. His visit highlights the growing appeal of the region and the strengthening of economic ties between China and the French Riviera.
“President Xi Jinping’s official visit reflects our open stance on the world and the warm welcome we offer to Chinese tourists on the French Riviera. For many years now, increasing numbers of Chinese visitors have been coming to discover our region, which we strive to make more attractive through the tools and services that we have deployed on social networks and on the user terminals and the signage in the airport in Mandarin”, enthuses Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.

Nice airport has just been awarded Level 5 accreditation, the highest and most demanding level of the international voluntary standard for managing greenhouse gas emissions from airports. It is the first major airport* in France to achieve this level.
