The all-business-class airline La Compagnie has announced the extension of its Nice–New York (Newark) route for the 2026/2027 winter season. Building on the strong performance of the service since its relaunch and driven by growing demand from American travellers visiting the French Riviera, La Compagnie is continuing to expand the route beyond the summer season.
After a year and a half of works, the some forty shops across the three Nice terminals for scheduled and business aviation, covering 6,300 m², have been completely transformed. The new retail selection reflects this exceptional region where French craftsmanship and luxury come together.
On Sunday 17 May, Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur welcomed a direct flight from Boston for the first time. This new connection marks the airport’s seventh route to the United States – a market experiencing significant growth – and the third of those operated by Delta Air Lines.
The extension of Terminal 2 at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is now in service. It introduces new departure passenger routes, both for check-in and boarding.
A rare and highly anticipated event for the region, the airport officially inaugurated the extension of Terminal 2 on Monday 13 April, in the presence of Philippe Tabarot, Minister of Transports; H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco; Laurent Hottiaux, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes; Éric Ciotti, Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis; Charles-Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department; Alessandro Benetton, Chairman of Edizione and Mundys, the principal shareholder of ACA; and many other distinguished guests. The commissioning of this extension will enhance service quality and improve passenger flow for both departures and arrivals, while preparing the airport to meet the developments of the years ahead.
