Nice Côte d’Azur welcomes SkyUp Airlines, strengthens its connections to Ukraine and announces a record programme for summer 2019!
Nice Côte d’Azur is constantly adding to its list of destinations for the 2019 summer season. The young company SkyUp Airlines will offer two weekly flights to Kiev Zhuliany, a new destination from the Côte d’Azur airport, which this summer is offering a record 122 direct, non-chartered destinations, including 98 international destinations.
From 12 June to 26 October, SkyUp Airlines will offer two weekly flights to Kiev Zhuliany, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using B737-800 aircraft. These rotations add to the 4 already scheduled by Ukraine International Airlines, to and from Kiev Boryspil. The arrival of this new company and the opening of a route to the second airport in Ukraine add to the strong development of connections between Nice and the Eastern European countries, with the summer programme enriched by numerous rotations to Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
Nice Côte d’Azur is now proposing a record number of destinations for its summer 2019 programme: 122, including 98 international destinations, operated by 61 airlines flying to 43 countries. Among the main innovations this summer, the arrivals of Kuwait Airways and of La Compagnie boost the platform’s influence from the East American coast to the Gulf States.
« Passengers at Nice Côte d’Azur now have access to a strong network and flexible frequencies for their leisure or business trips, which serves our ambition to assist the decentralisation of the Northern European skies by making ourselves an attractive alternative to the major hubs », explains Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
