Nice Côte d’Azur Airport to Gain Year-Round Service to New York for the First Time Thanks to La Compagnie

Published on 16-06-26

The all-business-class airline La Compagnie has announced the extension of its Nice–New York (Newark) route for the 2026/2027 winter season. Building on the strong performance of the service since its relaunch and driven by growing demand from American travellers visiting the French Riviera, La Compagnie is continuing to expand the route beyond the summer season.

This extension reflects a dual market dynamic: the enduring appeal of the Côte d’Azur among US travellers, and the increasing demand from passengers in Southern France for a direct connection to New York.

The development highlights growing interest in a travel experience dedicated exclusively to business-class passengers, while further underlining the rising attractiveness of the Côte d’Azur among North American visitors.

A First for the Autumn-Winter Season

For the first time, travellers will be able to enjoy a direct service between Nice and New York beyond the traditional summer period. The route extension responds to increasing year-round demand from North American visitors to the Côte d’Azur and supports the destination’s ambition to strengthen its appeal across all seasons.

By extending operations throughout autumn and winter, La Compagnie continues to reinforce its presence on the French Riviera while further strengthening ties between the region and the US market.

The Nice–New York Winter 2026/2027 Schedule

The Nice–New York (Newark) service will operate twice weekly throughout the 2026/2027 winter season.

  • Departing from Nice on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:00, arriving in New York (Newark) at 15:30
  • Departing from New York (Newark) on Mondays and Fridays at 20:30, arriving in Nice at 10:20 the following day

“As the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary, La Compagnie’s decision to extend its Nice–New York service throughout the winter season takes on particular significance, and we are delighted to welcome this development. By maintaining a year-round transatlantic connection, the airline strengthens the attractiveness of our region and provides both business and leisure travellers with a privileged gateway to a destination that continues to embody and promote the enduring friendship between France and the United States. Together with La Compagnie, we are reinforcing our strategic ties with the United States and contributing to the economic, tourism and cultural influence of the Côte d’Azur as a destination,” states Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Executive Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.

“The extension of our Nice–New York service into the autumn and winter seasons reflects La Compagnie’s continued growth momentum. It demonstrates the increasing popularity of this emblematic route, driven both by the Côte d’Azur’s strong appeal among American travellers and by sustained demand from passengers in Southern France for a direct connection to New York. This expansion further strengthens our position in a strategic market and reflects our commitment to delivering a unique transatlantic travel experience dedicated entirely to business-class passengers,” states Christian Vernet, Chief Executive Officer of La Compagnie.
