Starting June 16, 2027, Air Canada will operate a direct flight between Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and Toronto. This third direct route to Canada brings the total number of long-haul routes to 18, including 11 to North America.
From June 16, 2027, Air Canada will connect Nice and Toronto twice weekly—on Wednesdays and Saturdays—through October 23, 2027. The service will be operated using an Airbus A330-300. Combined with the existing service between Nice and Montreal, this new route will enable Nice Côte d’Azur Airport to offer daily flights to Canada.

Beyond the final destination, our customers benefit from seamless connections to over 250 destinations across Canada, the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, thanks to Air Canada’s extensive network," explains Jean-François Raudin, Air Canada’s representative for France.
For Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, this announcement marks an acceleration in the development of its North American network, which now comprises 11 long-haul routes. This offers residents of the Côte d’Azur, Monaco, and Northern Italy fast, direct access to major destinations and hubs.

After nearly three years of collaboration, the partners are planning a phased infrastructure rollout based on gaseous hydrogen, tailored to the initial volumes expected in the early 2030s.
In the summer of 2027, American Airlines will operate a daily direct flight to New York JFK. This new route, served by the state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR, brings the total number of long-haul flights to North America to 10, including four to New York.
