Another key stop for the expansion of Sky Valet

As from February 8 th 2016, Malaga station, one of the main airports in Spain, is taking part in Sky Valet, the most extensive service network in Spain.The new Spanish station of Malaga will also ensure an optimal level of security and customer satisfaction, committed to the IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) standard, which enhances the quality and excellence of the organisation and the services provided. Certified for Ebace 2015, Sky Valet is committed to the generalisation of the IS-BAH standard throughout its network.
The addition of this new Premium station further consolidates Sky Valet's development strategy to internationalise and establish a pan-European FBO network in flagship territories. Since April 2015, Sky Valet offers a full range of premium ground handling services to passengers, crew members and aircraft at Madrid, Barcelona, Girona, Valencia, La Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza airports as well. Malaga is now complementing the offer for prestigious and touristic airports. These services will all be coordinated via a 24/7 operations centre based in Madrid.

A rare and highly anticipated event for the region, the airport officially inaugurated the extension of Terminal 2 on Monday 13 April, in the presence of Philippe Tabarot, Minister of Transports; H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco; Laurent Hottiaux, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes; Éric Ciotti, Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis; Charles-Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department; Alessandro Benetton, Chairman of Edizione and Mundys, the principal shareholder of ACA; and many other distinguished guests. The commissioning of this extension will enhance service quality and improve passenger flow for both departures and arrivals, while preparing the airport to meet the developments of the years ahead.
