Terminal 2 extension now in service: new departure passenger routes

The extension of Terminal 2 at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is now in service. It introduces new departure passenger routes, both for check-in and boarding.

Depending on your airline and destination, you may be directed to:

  • Zone E for check-in and baggage drop-off;
  • Gates A40 to A45 for certain Schengen flights;
  • Gates B40 to B45 for certain non-Schengen flights, after passport control.

Before arriving at the airport, check your flight information. Once at the airport, regularly consult the flight information screens and follow the signage in Terminal 2.

Check-in in Zone E

The new Zone E in Terminal 2 now welcomes several airlines for check-in and baggage drop-off.

If your flight is concerned, go directly to Zone E. There, you can check in and drop off your baggage before proceeding to security screening and then to the Terminal 2 boarding lounge.

After security screening

After security screening, your route depends on your destination and boarding gate.

Schengen flights: gates A40 to A45

Gates A40 to A45 handle certain Schengen flights departing from Terminal 2.

To reach them, pass through security screening, then follow the signs for Gates A40–A45.

Non-Schengen flights: gates B40 to B45

Gates B40 to B45 handle certain non-Schengen flights departing from Terminal 2.

To reach them, pass through security screening, proceed to passport control, then follow the signs for Gates B40–B45.

Good reflexes before departure

To travel smoothly from Terminal 2:

  • check your terminal, check-in area and boarding gate before arriving
  • arrive early enough, especially if you are travelling with checked baggage
  • consult the flight information screens when you arrive and after security screening
  • do not automatically head to your usual gate: your boarding gate may have changed
  • follow the signage to Zone E, Gates A40–A45 or Gates B40–B45
    for non-Schengen flights, have your passport ready before passport control.
