Sky Valet Connect, the only network of independent FBOs, which already operates in some forty European airports, has scored a major coup by gaining a foothold in Europe's leading business aviation destination. Advanced Air Support has just joined the Sky Valet Connect franchise network, the Business Aviation brand of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur.
Just a few weeks after signing a contract with Châteaudun airport, Sky Valet Connect is continuing its expansion in the Paris region. By integrating Advanced Air Support, an independent ground handler assisting around 15% of private aviation traffic at Le Bourget, Sky Valet Connect is continuing to expand its network to offer its franchisees opportunities for synergies and joint development.
“Advanced Air Support has a unique feature that is highly relevant to our business model: it mainly assists private aircraft and manages a large fleet of equipment. Its location at Paris-Le Bourget is a major asset for our network, whose franchisees have been asking for a base at Europe's leading business aviation airport. Now, we are offering them new development opportunities”, explains Jean-François Guitard, Director of the General Aviation and External Development Business Unit at Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur.
GEH - Groupe Europe Handling, a subsidiary of Groupe CRIT, is based at all 3 Paris airports (CDG, Orly and Le Bourget). Its subsidiary, Advanced Air Support - Paris Le Bourget, offers a full range of services, from the VIP Lounge to the concierge service, including rest areas for crews, storage areas, aircraft maintenance capacity and freight management.
Louis Malidor, Head of FBO at ADVANCED AIR SUPPORT Le Bourget, says:
"This new partnership with the Sky Valet Connect network is designed to increase Advanced Air Support's synergies and opportunities for collaboration with major, well-known European airports. Everyone benefits, including passenger customers, crews, airline operators, FBOs and airport managers.
Sky Valet is the first European FBO (Fixed-Base Operator) to have developed a brand label and a co-branding strategy with other operators and airports.
