Nice Côte d’Azur Airport Unveils an Exceptional Summer 2026 Programme

Published on 13-03-26

With a network of 130 destinations across 47 countries, the airport presents the most extensive programme in its history. Ten new destinations and 15 seasonal long-haul routes further enhance its predominately international focus.

For the Summer 2026 season, which gradually begins at the end of March and runs through to autumn, residents of the Côte d’Azur and Northern Italy can take advantage of a network of 130 destinations across 47 countries. This is eight more destinations than last year and two more than last summer.

The programme includes 18 new additions, of which 10 are new destinations:

  • Billund (Norwegian)
  • Boston (Delta)
  • Bratislava (Wizz Air)
  • Cagliari (easyJet)
  • Cork (Aer Lingus)
  • Funchal (easyJet)
  • Gdansk (Wizz Air)
  • Hanovre (Eurowings)
  • Newcastle (easyJet)
  • Séville (Vueling)

Three routes that were operated last winter are now being run year-round:

  • Chisinau (Wizz Air)
  • Hurghada (easyJet)
  • Vilnius (Wizz Air)

Five existing routes will see increased capacity through the introduction of new operators:

  • Birmingham (easyJet)
  • Bucarest (FlyOne)
  • Bordeaux (Air France)
  • Djerba (Nouvelair Tunisie)
  • Paris Orly (Transavia France)

A route from Nice to Paris set for changes

Taking over the flights to Orly previously operated by Air France, Transavia France will operate a key connection between the Côte d’Azur and the capital, offering eight flights per day in peak times. EasyJet, which also operates this route, will likewise offer eight flights per day in peak times. Aware of the needs of Côte d’Azur residents, both operators have adapted their commercial policies to provide greater comfort, convenience, and flexibility. Furthermore, Air France has decided to increase capacity on its Paris-Charles de Gaulle service.

An even denser international network

With 112 international destinations out of a total of 130, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport strengthens its role to directly connect the region to the world. And now, with the launch of the new Boston service, the network includes 15 long-haul summer routes. This record reinforces the airport’s position as the second major entry point to France and Northern Italy while also supporting the region’s economic development. Specifically, seven routes connect the Côte d’Azur to the United States, two to Canada, and six to the Middle East.

“Our projected flight programme for this summer reflects the growing appeal of our region, its economic and cultural dynamism, and the airlines’ confidence in our ability to handle an increasing number of passengers. The opening of our Terminal 2 extension this spring contributes to the development and will allow us to offer visitors from around the world the highest quality of service,” states Franck Goldnadel, Chairman of the Executive Board of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
